I’ve been paying close attention to our process of evolution or transformation and how we are becoming more and more aware that we are energy beings living in a sea of energy – not just physical bodies separated by empty space. As the vibration – or frequency – of energy and awareness on the planet increases, our bodies vibrate faster, too. That makes us very aware of wanting to connect with, and become, our soul – while we’re still living in our three-dimensional bodies.
We want to recover the memory of who we are as spiritual beings and remember how easily and harmoniously things work in the spiritual dimension. Why? Because the physical world is speeding up enough that we are now much closer to our high-frequency roots, and we are experiencing more bleed-through from these higher dimensions of awareness.
We are waking up! We’re starting to realize that this world could quite possibly function like the spiritual one. And who doesn’t want that sort of positive change?
Part of our wake-up process is feeling that we are “stuck.” What used to suffice is now not enough; we feel cramped, frustrated, and restless. Our job may feel like torture, or we may not have much in common with our friends anymore.
We’re aware that there is an “old” reality and a “new” one, and we’re anxious to experience the new one. We are too big – vibrationally – for our old realities. We may feel that we’re in a doorway, passing from one world and identity into brand new ones, and the rules of how life functions are SO different between what’s behind us and what’s ahead.
The old reality is based on us being separate from each other, life, our soul, the planet, the divine. It takes will-power and control to survive, and a long time to make positive change. We can never quite have what we really want, and never feel loved enough. Emotional dysfunction is normal, and self-sacrifice is noble.
In the new reality, we are interconnected via the unified field of awareness and energy. Nothing is outside us. Cooperation, co-creation, and mutual support are the norm, and life occurs entirely in the present moment and is friendly. Ideas can materialize instantaneously. All knowledge is available, there is no lack. Love truly is all there is. But we understand “love” in a hugely expanded way, as the basis for science as well as spirituality.
As you gain glimpses and consciously experienced bits of the new reality, or what I call The Intuition Age, you will no longer be satisfied to just get by. You won’t want to be a victim in any way; you’ll want to slide into your destiny, the self-expression you were built for, the work that allows you to stay in your home frequency, or preferred state, without self-sacrifice or self-postponement.
And this is what Discover the Gift is really about.
Discover the Gift hits so many great notes! It emphasizes the importance of forgiveness and respect for others, of humility with full presence to the greater self of everyone, of good, heart-based communication, and of the process of dropping into yourself deeply to find your own Gift.
To me, the Gift is a combination of the talents you have, the natural personality traits you radiate, and the motivations that come through you marked by enthusiasm and joy.
When we find our own joy in offering gifts to others, we instantaneously perceive the Gifts that are being given to us, in the same moment. It’s as if we literally cannot give without receiving simultaneously, or vice versa.
Life feeds us with what we need and love (if we welcome appreciatively what comes), then we let the ideas and energy flow through us to be shaped by our own unique filter, then release it back to the field around us so others can enjoy and benefit. It’s a continuous flow.
