I found Discover the Gift through my studies and David “Avocado” Wolfe who is a leading expert, speaker and author on nutrition, herbalism and activist for longevity and environmental issues. Wonderful to see his vibrant example of living the “best day ever.” Many voices I have come to know from previous years in the self-development field and quest for growth. His Holiness the Dalai Lama is a favorite but I found voices new to me who bring their light and love to the quest.

I’ve been on a spiritual journey to create peace within my family ever since I watched this film Discover the Gift. It’s been a heart awakening experience for me. I know it won’t be an easy one, but it’s one that I’m willing to endure.

The love I have for my family since watching the film has been overwhelming. My heart yearns to be closer to my family. I moved away from my hometown of San Antonio, TX in 1988 and I feel that my siblings feel that I have abondoned them and rejected them by moving so far away from them.

I leave voicemails and send emails to my siblings and receive no return calls or emails. I tell my siblings in voicemails and emails how much I love them unconditionally and only want the best for them and that I have lost all the anomisty and hate I had in my heart. I also tell them I love them more frequently than I did before. I feel I can be more open about my love for them since I have made more room for love in my heart.

I called my uncle and my cousin recently (who I do have contact with) and said to them that I wanted to have a Love Renunion with our entire family and get to know my extended family. I know it may be a while before we can plan something like that, but I feel that’s where my heart is leading me, to start the ripple effect of love and peace within my family.

Shajen’s and Demian’s film gave me hope that I can have love, peace and harmony within my family. Demian said to me in a recent reply email that all the peace and love is already there within my family and that I just need to tap inot it. I love my siblings more than you can imagine and I didn’t know just how much until I watched this amazing film Discover the Gift.

Demian’s opening line in the film (when speaking about what was missing in his life) regarding the phone call he made to Shajen and said something within him had died, those words will resonate with me forever and will always live in my heart.

I would love to know when Shajen and Demian ever stop by Seattle for a book signing/talk. I would love to meet the two people in person that have had such a huge impact on my life! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

For barely two months now, I am happy to tell that great things keep drawing close to me. I can’t exactly describe how grateful I am with Shajen and Discover the Gift.

I once wrote to you this in exact words “I always dream to seek for someone to whom I can share my passion with.” By now, it is no longer a dream because I am living with it. You are the someone, Shajen. Being connected with you is like a mystery. I can’t totally explain but I feel extreme joy and happiness. I can clearly see love radiantly shine within your being.

Looking back, I am totally overwhelmed at how great things are transformed from being sunken in total burden into great gifts and blessings. Discover the Gift is not just you and your brother’s personal journey. Discover the Gift shares mine too. It is my personal journey towards making myself whole. This year marks the initial step. Discover the Gift deeply touches my life and making wonders since day first with my encounter. I could not forget that day – August 16 of this fruitful year.

Discover the Gift brings me back in time to a bitter past and moving forward to a fun-loving happy future. With this journey, I go back in time to heal the wounds that overstayed for several years in my being. Being in fear, anger, pain, and brokenness consumed me. Now, they are replaced with hope, faith, love, joy and happiness – not totally but close to completion. I genuinely admit, I am a work in progress.

With Discover the Gift, I learn these truths: what happen to me in the past are gifts that I enjoy living the lessons today. I learn that my birthright is love, joy, happiness and greatness.

I discover my gifts with Discover the Gift. Discover the Gift is both a gift and joy to me as I got to know myself more each day. Studying myself is so much fun than before. Learning to who I am fills my day.

Great thanks to you Shajen, to your brother Demian and to the whole team of Discover the Gift, the book, the movie and the movement. Looking forward in touching more other people’s lives. What you do with mine, can happen to others too.

Seeing the film “Discover the Gift” was a powerful experience for me, first, in giving me perspective on my own internal battles and releasing anger and disappointment to create a powerful, new chapter in my own life.

Four weeks after seeing the movie, I found myself on the Colorado River with Andrew Soliz, working on my own path and extremely grateful for the chance to meet this amazing man.

The movie also helped me to re-evaluate my gift to the world and helped me to make the decision to publish my second book and to share my own experiences as a corporate yogi, to help other people in corporate America who are desperately looking for balance in their own lives.
